Examples

Example packs ship with the CLI. Each one is a folder: SKILL.md plus evals/. Install them, then read a folder next to Writing a dataset.

Install the examples

skillgate examples install json-response

skillgate examples install copies six skills into skills/. Files already there stay as they are. A second install prints Left N existing file(s) in place. Pass --dest to write somewhere else.

What each example checks

json-response flattens a JSON API body to id, status, and total.
json-response-sabotaged uses the same cases and fails them.
readme-writer turns brief.txt into a README.
log-summarizer counts errors in a log.
sql-writer writes a query from a schema.
receipt-extractor reads a fictional receipt.

Check the green path with skillgate check skills/json-response. Check the red path with skillgate check skills/json-response-sabotaged. --expect-fail exits 0 only when that live run is red.

PDF packs

The PDF pack is still skillgate example pdf --dest skills/pdf. The sabotaged PDF pack is skillgate example pdf-sabotaged.
